Camel Safari In Rajasthan
Tour Duration: 11 Nights / 12 Days
A rich culture, in this living desert, provides a setting for an adventure expedition par excellence. . It provides a romantic opportunity to cross the barren sands on a ship of the desert, sleeping under the sky in the starlit night. We take you along the sands of time on a camel safari, to unravel the love legends of the desert. The Thar Desert is best explored on camel-back. Lope across the sand dunes, startle a black-buck from a clump of cacti and desert romance rides along in the outlying villages and in the vast wilderness of this spectacular desert.
Day - 01

Delhi

Upon arrival you will be met at the international airport & transferred to the hotel.
Day - 02

Delhi - Mandawa (230Km/6 Hours)

Morning Drive to Mandawa. On arrival check in to Hotel for overnight stay. The town of Mandawa lies in the heart of Shekhavati. As you approach it, Mandawa emerges from the sand like a mirage. A painted arched gateway adorned with Lord Krishna and his cows leads to the bazaar. Explore the castle and its museum, which houses ancestral costumes, weapons and an impressive collection of coins. There is time to relax and enjoy the sunset on one of the terraces.
Day - 03

Mandawa – Janglu - Dingsree

After an early breakfast, drive to the starting point for your Camel Safari. Stop en route at the unique Deshnok temple and is dedicated to the miracle-working Karni Mata, considered an incarnation of Goddess Durga. The temple derives its fame from the legion of rats, which have territorial rights here. After about 13 km, you will reach the village of Dingsri. Overnight in tents.
Day - 04 - 07

Camel riding

You will start your Camel ride from Dingsree to Chor (28 km). The next day you ride from Chor to Bungri (20 km). The third day from Bungri to Khangar (23 km) and finally from Khangar to Bharat (23 km). Overnight in tents.
Day - 08

Bharat – Pushkar

This morning you will do a Camel ride for about 12 km. Upon arrival at Mathai road we drive to Pushkar (5 hours) & proceed to the Hotel for overnight stay.

The small town of Pushkar is an important pilgrimage centre for Hindus. 400 temples curl around a holy lake. Throughout the year, Pushkar has the atmosphere of an ancient religious town, peaceful and secluded.
Day - 09

Pushkar - Ranthambhore National Park (6-7 hours)

Drive to Sawai Madhopur near Ranthambhore National Park and check in to Hotel/Resort.

The park covers 1334 sq km. Since becoming one of the original 11 areas under Project Tiger in 1973, the park has recovered much of its previous natural glory. The blend between nature and history is strong in this park - the fort, temples, tanks and other relics are a constant reminder of man's involvement in the area. During the winter months, the lakes attract a variety of migrant water birds. Overnight at the Hotel/Resort.
Day - 10

Sawai Madhopur

Morning and evening wildlife safari with Jeeps in Ranthambore National Park. Overnight at the Hotel/Resort.
Day - 11

Sawai Madhopur – Delhi (5-6 Hours)

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the railway station to board the train to Delhi. You will be met upon arrival at the railway station and transferred to the Hotel .
Day - 12

Dehli

Departure transfer to homeward journey.
