01. How can I reach India, if I am residing
outside India?
Entry to India by Air:
India is well connected to almost all the countries
in the world through air network. Delhi, Mumbai,
Chennai, Kolkata (Calcutta), Thiruvananthapuram,
Kochi (Cochin), Hyderabad and Goa (for charter
flights) are the International gateways for India
from where most of the flight take off takes place.
Out of these airports, Delhi and Mumbai are the
most preferred gateways as they are near to famous
tourist destinations like Agra, Rajasthan, and
Goa. Major international airlines flying to India
are Lufthansa, British Airways, Singapore Airlines,
Swiss, Air France, Emirates, SAS, Austrian Airlines,
Al Italia, Air India, Indian Airlines (for neighboring
countries and Middle East), Virgin Atlantic, Continental,
Delta, North West Airlines, Etihad, Qatar Airways,
Sri Lankan, KLM, Aeroflot, Lot Polish, Thai Airways,

Entry to India by Road:
India can be also entered through certain road
entry points from Nepal, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.

of India? When can I visit India?
India has a tropical climate. Summers, April to
July, are quite hot in the northern India. Monsoon,
last week of June to August, brings with it a
lot of rain mainly in most parts of the country.
Winters, third week of September to end of February
is quite cold in entire Northern India, but mild
in the Southern Peninsula.
There are large climatic variations
in India due to its size and difference in the
altitude and nearness to sea of the places. While
some parts of Himalayas are quite enjoyable during
the summers, North India reels under the blazing
sun. In fact, India is a destination for every
season. Himalayan ranges in the summers, North
India in the winter, and Southern Peninsula throughout

available but you may not find it under the same
brand name as in your own country. Private hospitals

prices for online itineraries?
As prices are dependent on the time of year, number
of travelers, standard of hotel accommodation
and other variables, we can only send you a detailed
costing once we have a clearer idea of your holiday
requirements.
07. If I do not want the tour as mentioned in
the website how do I make my own tour?
In this case you will have to inform us the places
you want to visit and some other factors like
duration, number of people traveling together
and choice of hotels you prefer. After having
these details from your end we will plan a tour
for you and contact you very next day with all
the details.
08. Can I buy an Air Ticket through you also?
Yes, you can but to be fair we advice you to book
your air ticket in your country as air tickets
are normally expensive if booked in India to be
sent to your country. However even it Air tickets
are cheaper here and you happen to change you
schedule in that case it is better to have to
tickets issued at the port of departure After
having booked your Air tickets you can inform
us the arrival time and the flight Nr. to enable
us to pick you up from the airport to start with
the tour.
09. Can I book the hotels only with you and not
the complete tour?
Yes, Sonata Traevls is having special rates with

wanted by you. As for as hotels are concerned

10. How will I be picked up from the Airport?
You will be upon arrival by our representative
at the arrival hall of the particular International
Airport of India. You should not leave Air Port
without our representative if you are to be picked
up. Sonata Travels representative would be holding
a welcome board with your name on it. If you are
part of a group, the name of the group will be
mentioned on the welcome board. We will also provide
you the mobile number of the representative who
will be there to meet you well in time of your
arrival in India. 
11. What about traveling alone?
Sonata Travels tailor made itineraries are perfect
for people traveling alone, since you can share
the fun with so many like-minded people. If you
prefer a single room, you can have one on most
journeys by paying the single room supplement
(which reflects the additional costs charged by
hotels). Note there may be limited availability
of singles. If you would like to share a room,
we will do our best to arrange that for you --
but if we're unable to do so, you'll need to pay
the single supplement.
